What To Consider When Choosing Saddle Stitch Printing
- Page count must be in a multiple of 4
- Bleeds of 0.125 are required for graphics that extend to the edge of the page.
- For documents that need bleeds be sure to include Trim marks to ensure we trim the book correctly.
- Page Creep - Saddle Stitch book pages are folded, stacked, stitched and trimmed. As pages are stacked, the inside pages are pushed out. When the books are trimmed this may cause important information to be trimmed as illustrated to the right. Maintain a 0.25 margin at the trim edge as a safety margin from page creep.
- All Fonts should be embedded in your PDF, if not fonts might be swapped and your document may not turn out as expected.
