Perfect Binding is best when your book 28 pages or more.
It is best to have a thicker paper for the cover or “cover weight” paper and the text usually prints double sided on thinner or “Text weight” paper.
Sumi uses PUR Glue which is much stronger and pages lay flater than hot melt glue especially when printing on coated papers and there is many pages. Many of our competitors are still using hot melt glue.
